PG remembers her dear uncle
It has been a long week. My Uncle Hub died on Friday night of respitory complications relating to pnemonia. He had had resperitory problems for a long time, he was a heavy smoker since he was a very young man. To say he was a great man would be an understatment. He held nearly every position of honour in his local hospital including Chief Surgeon. He loved his work and loved his family even more. He would never end a conversation without a "I'm real proud of you, kiddo!" Over 500 people came to his visitation and people had to stand in the back at the funeral service. These were only a fraction of the lives that he touched. I think I speak for everyone when I say, Hub White was more than a good doctor or a family man, he was a human being that excelled in almost every aspect of his life and whether he knew it or not he touched every life he came into contact with, leaving fuller and more rich. To paraphrase the great man himself, I know that everyone must go, but the knowing doesn't ease the loss. To say he will be missed is a gross understatment. Thank you for enriching our lives and leaving us with such fond memories.

Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.
