Everybody's fucked up and seeking attention. I don't why people tell strangers about their personal affairs. All it does is make you look like a total attention whore (which, if you do this, you probably are) and it makes the other person akward. Guess what? Nobody cares what the fuck is going on with you. Don't get me wrong, nobody cares whats going on with me, either. Nobody really cares about anybody, but themselves...and celebrity scandals. Mostly themselves, though. I realize how cynical I sound, but can you really prove me wrong? Nobody wants to hear about our problems, nobody wants to hear us bitch, but we bitch and complain anyway. We talk at each other, never really hearing what anybody else has to say, we're just waiting for the next opportunity that we can talk more about ourselves, that we can bemoan our tragic lives (which are, in most cases, far from a tragedy). I do it, too. Everybody does, the only thing worse than whinners are gushers. You know, those people that talk about how terribly romantic their significant other is and how they are SO in love to people they barely know. When they break-up, however, they turn instantly into bitchers. Nobody wants to hear anything about anybody else, but we all think that everybody should want to hear everything about us.
